Programme Name: ARCHITECTURAL DRAFTING (SHORT COURSE)

Duration: 6 months 

Course Fee: Fully Funded by the government of Malaysia 

Certification: Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB)

Course Objectives: This program produces trainees with technical skills and knowledge in the draughtsman field, especially in the field of architecture and graphic design. The program also offers several skills learning modules to meet the latest needs of the job market in the industry. Learning modules are implemented theoretically (20%) and practically (80%).

Syllabus: 

M01 – Introduction to architectural drafting

M02 – Schematic drawing

M03 – Submission drawing

M04 – Tender and construction drawing

M05 – As-built drawing

M06 – Measure drawing

Career Opportunities: Trainees have career opportunities as a Draughtsman (Architecture), Draughtsman (Civil and structure), Draughtsman (Mechanical and electrical), 3 Dimension Artist, Interior Designer, Graphic Designer, Model Making, Site Supervisor, Site Clerk.

Requirements:  

1. Applicants must be Malaysian 
2. Aged between 18 – 28 years old 
3. SPM / STPM / SMA leavers
4. Healthy and free from social illness/ drugs
5. Not color blind

Duration: 12 months 

Course Fee: Full Loan from Perbadanan Tabung Pendidikan Kemahiran (PTPK) 

Certification: JABATAN PEMBANGUNAN KEMAHIRAN (JPK) – SKM TAHAP 2&3

Course Objectives: This program produces trainees with technical skills and knowledge in the draughtsman field, especially in the field of architecture and graphic design. The program also offers several skills learning modules to meet the latest needs of the job market in the industry. Learning modules are implemented theoretically (30%) and practically (70%).

Syllabus: 

C01 – Architectural Schematic drawing

C02 – Submission drawing

C03 – Tender and construction drawing

C04 – As-built drawing

C05 – Measured drawing

C06 – Supervisory & administrative function

Career Opportunities: Trainees have career opportunities as Architectural Planner, Civil & Structural Planner, Mechanical & Electrical Planner, (3D) 3 Dimensional Artist, Interior Designer, Graphic Designer, Model Designer, Site Supervisor and Site Clerk.

Requirements:

2. Aged between 18 – 30 years old 
3. Minimum completed Form 5 / SKM Level 2
4. Healthy and free from social illness/ drugs
