Train The Trainers for Cambodia, Lao PDR and Vietnam (CLV) Countries


Kedah Industrial Skills and Management Development Centre (KISMEC) was awarded a project by ASEAN Secretariat funded by Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund (JAIF). The title of this project is Common Standard Curriculum in Industrial Electronics for CLV Countries where it aims to assist Cambodia, Lao PDR, and Vietnam (CLV) in strengthening their Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector.

KISMEC’s role is instrumental in training the trainers from six (6) Centre of Excellence (CoEs) in which twenty (20) trainers from all of the CoEs will undergo one month training at KISMEC since November 2, 2022 until November 30, 2022. After the training completion, the CoEs will be equipped with appropriate equipments with the help of KISMEC.

-National Polytechnic Institute of Cambodia (NPIC)

Lao PDR (5 pax)
-Vocational Education Development Institute (VEDI)
-Vientiane-Hanoi Friendship Technical Vocational College (VHC)
-Polytechnic College Laos (PTC)

Vietnam (10 pax)
-Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI)
-Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City (IUH)

By equipping the participating Centre of Excellence (CoEs) from Cambodia, Lao PDR, and Vietnam with befitting tools and providing trainings to their trainers, it can be the catalyst for their enhancement on industrial electronics and conducting training where the trained laboratory technicians will be in charge of the equipments.
